Kingdom, has commenced operations at Lexington, Kentucky, USA. The company will carry out manufacturing and assembly of Cellpak and Meltpak cartons for customers in the USA, Canada and South America. Kalico silicone coated packaging containers are used worldwide for the filling and packaging of hot melt adhesives, sealants, waxes, asphalt & bitumen. The new facility will improve service to American customers, cutting lead times and enabling a full range of sizes from 1 lb to 60 lb to be made available. Kalico specialized silicone coatings release well from a variety of hot melts including soft, tacky, highly plasticised grades. The paper and cardboard cartons provide a simple and effective method of filling molten products direct from the mixing vessel. They serve as both a release package and a shipping container.
